This is the 8th occasion that the Disabilities Studies Conference has been organised on the occasion of the celebration of Hungarian Science by the ELTE Bárczi Gusztáv Faculty of Special Needs Education, the Disability Studies Doctoral Workshop, the Disability Studies and Social Innovation Lab, the Foundation for the Development of Special Needs Education, and the Disability Studies Department of the Hungarian Sociological Association.

The Eighth Disability Studies Conference enriches the online programme series of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and Eötvös Loránd University.
